   Week at a Glance:     Q2 Preview  As of this week, we will begin a new science-related unit. In this unit, we will explore what playing means for animals and how it connects to animal adaptations and natural selection. We will also learn an important reading strategy: identifying main ideas and supporting details in various academic texts. Finally, we will conclude the unit by writing an argumentative essay or choosing other options to demonstrate your mastery of the content. Additionally, as the presidential election draws near, we will closely follow the election news, learn about the candidates from both the Democratic and Republican parties, and explore how their policies may impact our lives over the next four years. Of course, we will also celebrate Halloween, one of our favorite holidays, together. Ms. Zhang
